Surrey Area Conservatives are delighted to announce that Mhairi Fraser has been selected by Epsom & Ewell Conservative Association as their Parliamentary Candidate for the next general election.

Epsom and Ewell Conservative Association members were spoilt for choice with an exceptionally high calibre of candidates seeking selection to go forward as the Conservative Party Candidate in Epsom and Ewell following a recent announcement by Chris Grayling MP that he will retire. But there can be only one and Mhairi Fraser was selected by the association membership. I want thank all the fantatsic candidates who put themselves forward for this important process.
Following her selection Mhairi Fraser said
I had two formidable opponents in Mario and Ed who both will be fantastic MPs – could not have been in better company. By the end of this process I hope to form part of a cracking group of backbenchers in place for the next Parliament. I want to thank members of the Epsom and Ewell Conservative Association for putting their faith in me to be the Conservative Party Candidate in the next election and I will waste no time in attempting to knock on very single door in Epsom and Ewell to try to pursuade the electorate that I am worthy of carrying on the work of Chris Grayling MP who has worked tirlessley for residents of Epsom and Ewell. His boots will be tough ones to fill but I have the energy, enthusiasm and determination to deliver for local residents.
