Jonathan serves on Surrey County Council as the member for Foxhills, Thorpe & Virginia Water and he is also a Runnymede Borough Councillor for Virginia Water Ward.

He says: "As a serving Councillor and senior property lawyer, I believe that I can continue to bring experienced and professional expertise to Runnymede council.

"I have helped and supported the establishment of the Neighbourhood Forum to take forward plans for a Neighbourhood Plan. I have worked with local residents to say no to inappropriate development on Padd Farm; to oppose gravel extraction on Whitehall Farm and to fight back on a medical incinerator on Trumps Farm.

"I pledge to continue to work to protect Virginia Water’s green open spaces and special character and advocate a zero tolerance approach to anti-social and fly tipping. I have a track record for getting things done."
