Kevin Deanus and his wife Dawn have lived in Alfold since 1993; they have two daughters.

Kevin spent 30 years as a Surrey Police Officer where he returned as a Detective Chief Superintendent. His favourite posting was as the Divisional Commander for West Surrey with responsibility for policing Waverley and Guildford Police areas.

On his retirement, Kevin worked providing drug and alcohol treatment services for those with substance misuse issues.
